Seasons & Fees

All of them.

Some outfitters ask you to enquire before they will tell you what a stag costs. We think that wastes your time and ours. Everything is below.

Wounded-animal policy

Stated in full, and stated the same everywhere

A wounded animal is followed until it is found or until following is exhausted, with a dog, for as long as it takes. If an animal is struck and cannot be recovered, it counts as taken and the trophy fee for its estimated class is due.

Your guide will explain this before the season and again before you take any shot, and he will decline a marginal shot on your behalf. This clause appears word for word on the Ethics & Policy and Terms & Cancellation pages.
